Have an old installation of WAMP 2.0i server on a SBS 2008 box that has a few Wordpress sites that I need to update. Sites will not update because of the ancient 5.3 php version. All I need to do is upgrade the php version form 5.3 to 5.6 but I am open to just upgrading everything with a new WAMP server version. Sites are live and need to stay up. It works - not sure why, but it works. Here's what I had to do. SBS has static IP of 192.168.2.4. IIS is also on 192.168.2.4. I chose the next open IP (192.168.2.8) for WAMP. Configured the NIC and IIS just like in the link I posted above. Everything worked INSIDE the network but WAMP was not working OUTSIDE. I ended up changing the router port forward for port 80 from 192.168.2.4 to 192.168.2.8.

Have a MS Small Biz Server box, so I NEED to keep IIS but want to use WAMP.
