I have scoured the lists and followed the suggestion of installing vcredist_x64 - this did not resolve my issues either. I don't get an icon in the tray, it simply errors out with the codes above. followed by the Exception Exception in module wampmanager.exe at 000F15A0.

Error log comes up with the SideBySide
Activation context generation failed for "c:\wamp\bin\php\php5.4.3\php-win.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

not sure i'm adept enough with win2008 to work through the sxstrace efforts. Anybody come up with a solution?
