WampServer

I downloaded and installed wamp server 2.2 for 64 bits. after installation it asks for explorer.exe when i select it i get an error box saying " httpd.exe - Application Error "The application was unable to start correctly (0Xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Even though i got this error wamp was install and when i click Localhost from menu nothing happens. something thing with phpadmin.

What should i do.
I have Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributed installed for 64 bit Version.

open up your wampmanager.conf file and tell us what you have for navigator?

I think I got it fixed.
I ran chsdsk
at first I could only get it run as read only

even when I would go to the RUN prompt and run

chkdsk /f

it would still run in READ ONLY mode

so I right clicked on C:
then clicked on PROPERTIES
and then TOOLS
and then ran CHECK NOW

of course it didn't work right away but it scheduled a disk check
on the next boot.

I rebooted and it took most of an hour.

I think it's working now. I know very little about IIS. This is my first run but the WAMP manager iis in the
task bar.

By the way. Recently I had a run-in with a couple of viruses due to the Java thing. I don't know if it's related but Adobe is rather direct about updating and removing old versions. Here's the Java version check

This is almost funny. It's Adobe's take on uninstalling old versions. They tell you that if you need an older version to run a site that you should contact the site and have them upgrade the site. Maybe Adobe should just patch their mistakes and make their programs backward compatible. Anyway, like I said, this is my first run on IIS and I'm clueless. I'm using it for a home intranet. I'll take any pointers available.
