WAMP does not work

Hello,
Few days ago the installed and working wamp refused to work.
I have made a new installation with all needed, but when Extracting files was accomplished a pop up appeared asking to choose default brouser, and more "If you are not sure, just click Open". I have done so and then another pop up said "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)... ". After OK another pop up "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)... ". After OK the installation finished and I put the wamp onLine and started All Services. The icon in the tray remained brown and never became green. WAMP server does not work! What is the problem. I have been working with wamp server for years!

Well uninstall and reinstall and this time specify one of your browsers. It is only asking which browser you want to use when you clikc the locahost menu item etc. It wont change your default browser.
