I am in the process of updating my PHP and Apache versions as the links on the WAMP home page are not up to date.
I have successfully managed to update my PHP to version 5.3.13.
I have downloaded the latest version of Apache 2.2.23 and there is no .exe in the bin folder, as far as I am aware the wampserver.conf file needs to point to an executable in the bin folder, am I wrong?
So my question is how to I integrate Apache in to WAMP, does it work in the same way PHP version does? I.E. being able to switch between version via the tray icon?
OK update, I have got Apache into WAMP and can now toggle between versions in the tray icon manager. Now when I try to select the latest version I am receiving this error -
Could not execute menu item (internal error) [Exception] Could not execute run action:The system cannot find the file specified
I can send you a copy of a HowTo I was working on. Its not totally complete but I think it does cover the steps you have probably not done. Check your Private Messages.
