Accessing MySQL in wamp server

I have WAMP server installed on windows 7 Home Premium.
What will be the default name and password, by which I can access mysql database from command prompt ? When I try to open mysql, command prompt interface just closes down.
If I want to add new user and password to mysql, how can I do that ?

It uses the 'root' userid which has NO PASSWORD, so just hit enter when you are asked for a password.
