Yes I have, i tried localhost, 127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.1/index.php, and even 127.0.0.1:80/index.php but it didnt work. It kind of shows its trying to load but it doesn't. Doesn't work on any browser.

Thanks! I will let it finish running and then I will get back to you on the result. After it finishes scanning I will switch back to auto-config IP and then restart.

I have a couple quick questions in regards to my issue.
In the worst case scenario where I reinstall windows, could I just pop in my WIN7 CD and do a repair? or do I actually have to format the whole thing?

Also, This machine is actually a Mac Book Pro, I'm Dual Booting Mac and Win here (currently logged into Windows). Just letting you know, when I noticed my auto-config IP was not working in Windows, I checked Mac and it had the same result.. In the worse case scenario where if I have to reinstall Windows, how does this affect my Mac OS? Would Reinstalling only my Win OS help? or do I need to do something about my Mac OS as well?
(not quite sure if I'm getting my point across or if I know how to ask this question, but it seems that hibernation affected my Window's settings like you said, thus auto-config IP wasn't working properly.. Though I'm not sure how this relates to Mac OS settings, but If I have to reinstall Windows to fix the problem, what about Mac OS?)

if wamp works which it should , but the IP still fails on Auto. uninstall the network card/adaptor in both OS and reinstall it, im not sure how to do it on Mac , but you can do it easily in windows in the Devices

When you say "If wamp works which is should", do you mean after running sfc and the restart, wamp is working but auto IP config isn't?

I can try the reinstalling network card issue as well before reinstalling windows.. (hopefully I shouldn't have to....)

Hi,

sfc finished running and I have the log file now. I switched back to auto-config IP and restarted the PC.

It appears my auto-config IP is working as I can connect, though my WAMP is still not working. I did try enabling firewall but that isn't working either..

ok well send me a new password and ill look again

Just to let you know, I got it working now!

about the WSHELPER.DLL, i looked it up and tried using ComboFix which actually fixed the problem. netsh is working properly now and so is my firewall and wamp!

Just wanted to say thanks again for all the help! You helped me fix so many problems at once haha! including the auto IP config too, thanks again!

My wamp was working before, but for some reason im getting the same error as of this topic, can you help? (got teamwiewer installed too)

Having exact same prob as dyuen is my port is being used by the wmpache thing and the phpMyadmin tab just keeps loading or blankpages me . Whats the solution? I have teamveiwer too .

Nevermind I tried combofix as dyuen stated and low and behold it fixed the prob.

I have the same issue i install Wampserver when i open on google chrome it say Oops! This link appears to be broken.

Update 2: Never mind i got it to work I just need to edit the Apache config file on new port
