cant get wamp server 2 to work

Hello i use a windows 7 64-bit laptop, i have installed the latest of VC++ and restarted my pc but the wamp server still shows orange an when i click on put online i get this messege: "Could not execute menu item (internal erro) [Exeption] could not perform service action; service could not start".

Edit your hosts file

make sure that you have

127.0.0.1 localhost

if you have

::1 localhost

comment it out like this
#::1 localhost
