How to update/upgrade WAMP

Hi all, I've been told my WAMP server is outdated and certain features in phpMyAdmin are missing.
How can I check which version I'm using to know which one to get to replace it with?

Also,I guess a big question is: how on earth will my current installs under www dir be moved across to the new version without breaking? Or is the whole idea to updated WAMP seamlessly with the contents of WWW dir left undisturbed?
