I was working on a website and suddenly....
#2006 - MySQL server has gone away
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.
Restarted server, tried everything and nothing. I even reinstalled WAMP and still nothing. Looked on forums and I did not find a solution to work. Any ideas?

And... i did not change any password settings in MySQL.

Ok,
Have you checked that the userid and password you are using in your mysql_connect() statement exists on the mysql database and has the correct privileges on the database you are connecting to?
