Upgrading from WAMP Server 2.0f

I downloaded WAMP Server 2.0f a couple of years ago for a class I ended up not taking. Now I'd like to download the current version 2.2e. Can I just overwrite the 2.0f version or do I need to do something special before downloading/installing the current version?

Its best to run the uninstall of 2.0f and start again with the new version.

there is an uninstall in the Add/Remove programs of Control Panel.
