Hi,
I can not access the url of localhost/wp-admin/install.php

It's all running well that is the download and installation of wamp server.Also the download,

extraction and configuration of wordpress;it's all cool but like I said before,I can not access

the url of localhost/wp-admin/install.php

Please help me fix this.

Question:

What is the directory structure under C:\wamp\www ?

In other words did you create a c:\wamp\www\mysite additional folder under www?

If yo did then it will be
localhost/mysite/wp-admin/install.php


PS Its much better to create a Virtual Host if you want to use things like Wordpress.

Question:

I have left clicked on my wamp yellow icon opened the apache service folder and Test for port 80

it reply

my port 80 is actually used by :

server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0

That means that IIS is installe dand runnning on your PC.

If you are not using it uninstall it.
