WampServer

I have installed wampserver 2 when i click on put online i get this error message

Could not execute menu item (internal error) exception could not perform service action: The service has not been started

Please can anyone help me to solve this issue

you have something using port 80, ul need to find it and stop it.

if you want i can do it via teamviewer

You get that message when Apache has not actually started when you try to put online.

The wamp manager icon shoul dbe GREEN, but I assume yours is ORANGE right?

As Steve says Apache has probably failed to start ( ICON = ORANGE ) which is normally due to some other server using port 80.

Left Click the wamp manager icon and do wamp manager -> Apache -> Services -> Test Port 80.


This should open a command window and show you what is using port 80.


If you cannot re-configure it to NOT use port 80 then you should uninstall it.
