Cannot Get WampServer To Work

Hello Everyone,
I have had nonstop errors with installing local servers on my machines, I've watched counteless tutorials and tried many different versions, I just cannot get it to work!
I just purchased a new machine a few days ago, I originally installed ZendServer CE, and it worked fine, then out of nowhere it stopped working. I uninstalled it. Now today, I install Wamp, and it says everything is installed okay (installation complete). I go to localhost, and I get the not found page. How can I fix this.
I am running Avast antivirus with windows firewall

Lets start from the begining! What colour is your wampserver icon in the system tray?
