My PC has a two local hard drives. I have installed wampserver on my c: drive and all is well there. Can I now install a separate and distinct wampserver on my d: drive without messing anything up? Or can I install wampserver on an external hard drive?
Thanks for any assistance.

I'm using my C: drive install to work with Joomla and learn PHP. Now I have need to learn Magento. I have not been able to get Magento up on my C: installation and plus Magento calls for some specific Apache and PHP settings. I would like to safeguard that which is stable and already working.
Thanks steven martin!

I would be interested in an answer as well.

I installed coldfusion on wamp with sql2008 to emulate the server at my workplace and now I would like to have a brand new install with php5 and mysql to learn Zend in my free time.

do I simply install it again in another folder?

thx

Use one install of wamp to run multiple sites.

Take a look at Virtual Hosts ( vhost ). Do a search here there are a number of HowTo posts.
