Can we re-configure WAMP with a different PHP?

Is there a way we can replace the PHP folder in WAMP to make it run a different version or does it have more configuration and/or dependencies that need to be taken care of?

You can download other php version form the wamp home page.
If the version you want is not there you can use any from the php site BUT you have to know what you are doing and there are quite a few other things to check are alligned like versions of Visual C used for apache/php/php extensions/apache and so on.
Its not a sinple task.
