phpAdmin cannot connect to MySQL.
why?

How do I set the password for MySQL users ?
password already set in config.inc.php

Following previous messages, I tried using testmysql.php
the error I get there is
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known. in C:\wamp\www\testmysql.php on line 2
