Apache worked, then failed

I was taking a course online and had to download apache, apache_1.3.33-win32-x86-no_src.exe. it worked shortly at some point and time but not i keep getting this 1067 message. To be precise it say

A system error has occurred.
System error 1067 has occurred.
The process terminated unexpectedly.

Are there any suggestions in the forum world.

uninstall apache

install wamp.
