Win8 Consumer preveiw errror

I have just installed the windows 8 consumer preview, but discovered that wamp servers don’t work at this os yet i think. Is there anyway to make this work on a Win8 yet or? If not how long will it take? Because there is no good alternative to wamp i hope it will be fixed!

I think there is no hosts file

You will need to add it or use 127.0.0.1

I can confirm that WAMP Server does work in the Windows 8 CP.

You have to change the HOSTS file, located in the same place as previous wndows c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts to add/uncomment the

#127.0.0.1 localhost

line.

Then everything else just works.
