upgrading from wamp 2.0 to 2.0.2c

I am upgrading my wamp server, mainly to get the latest smysql.
How do I go about this. Do I uninstall the old one then install the new one?
can I install the new one to a new directory and leave the old one just in case I hve problems?
Any help appreciated. Thanks

I highly don't recommend that, it's much more complicated with Ports/Listeners and server Configuration ! If you host a server for business or so, then i recommend you to create a Virtual Environment and test updates on it before you apply it

Otherwise, uninstall the old version, and reinstall new one with all the updates
