hello,

i have a php scripts which requires server side behaviour and i want to test them in my browser but i don't understand some connections settings.

I would prefer to set these in dreamweaver under manage site.

it asks me which type of connection: local/network or ftp?

then remote or testing server or both

the server name

server folder (in case of local/network)

web url

in case of ftp, adding:

username

password

ftp-adress

root directory

------------------------------------------------

i'm confused with some terms.

i know that my root directory is under c:/wamp/www, i've put all my php's, htlm, images etc there

i tought ftp adress should be localhost:80

i dont understand why it asks for a username or password, i've only configured this for mysqldatabase

i don't know what it means with server folder and server name
