Trouble Setting Up Wamp and FTP Access

Hi there,

Looking for some technical help setting up a wamp server that I can FTP into.

So far, I have installed Wamp and added a password to MySQL root.

I have also installed Filezilla Server Version and configured a user.

However, when I try to access my local ip from a browser on the server I get a FORBIDDEN You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Anyone know where I begin?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The hosts file.

C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

Open hosts

Delete EVERYTHING in itnAnd just write
127.0.0.1. localhost

Save and restart pc may be nessecary

The issue that you got that message is most likely you didn't setup ftp account properly in ftp server. In addition, did you setup permission for ftp server in all firewalls?
