I've had the same problem.
Is there a simple answer to this that we're missing and it's dead obvious?

I just spent hours trying to figure out why I kept getting this message. I've set up wampserver numerous times and this thing drives you crazy sometimes...

In any event, it turns out I was doing everything right. The message kept popping, and... it simply was wrong doing so, as if this feature was designed to drive the user crazy.

Ok, so here's the problem. (btw, I'm using Chrome).

After hours scratching my head and trying one thing after another, I just tried with another browser. No error message!!!!!!!
I returned to Chrome and cleared the cache and refreshed. Message still there.
But it was not there if I opened a new incognito window.
So on top of clearing the cache, I cleared all cookies.
That did it.
Once you get the error, it is stored in a cookie and it sticks, even after the error is gone.

Looks like something they should fix...

No it's not a problem. It's a notice, a little message. , just to say that linked tables are not active

Unless you know what linked tables are and how to set them up, then I guarantee that you don't need this feature
