Hello

I had IIS 7 installed on my Windows 7 Professional 32 bits laptop.
I installed the WAMP server also and ran into errors.
Thus after going through this forum, I uninstalled the IIS7 from my laptop.

Then i also uninstalled the wamp server from my pc completely.
Then restarted the computer and downloaded the WAMP server 2.2a 32 bits.

Then installed it from scratch. Also I added the command 127.0.0.1 localhost in the
systems 32/drivers/etc/host file.

And still the WAMP color was yellow. When I tested the APACHE Test port 80, it displayed

Your serevr port:80 is actually used by Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0

I don't understand why even after uninstalling IIS7 it shows this message.

Nevertheless, I went to Apache http:confi file and changed the Licencee and
server port to Localhost:82.

Now the WAMP server color turned green. But now when I click on Phpmyadmin, or localhost
or mysql buddy, it shows the message

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server.

Please help. I have tried all possible means but unable to detect the problem.
I also don't know how to change the testport for PHPmy admin and others.

Am i late ?

open command prompt and type : net stop msdepsvc
to stop Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0 and also you must have to change back httpd.conf port to 80 . Or if you want to use port 82 , then go to \wamp\apps\phpmyadmin3.4.5\config.inc.php and add your system password in provided space . It'll work !
