WampServer

Hi,

can you help me please i am still beginner in using the wampserver this is the first time i downloaded the wampserver,I already installed it on my computer now i want to configure my password..how to change the default password "root" to my new password.can you help me please.

You need to go to the phpMyAdmin and add the user there. If you get the warning that you are using the root and you are using wamp only for the development purposes you can ignore it and still use it. However, when you upload your site/application to the webserver you need to change the password for your databases connections to make them as secure as possible.

You should set Backup right after set WAMP successful so you can restore if having issue
