Let wampserver show warning when Port 80 blocked by another prgm

Occasionally I have some other programs running which block/occupy port 80
For example Oracle database or famous Teamviewer remote session tool.

When I start now (afterwards) wampserver (with default listening port 80 too) then the systray icon remain orange color.
That indicates that something went wrong for a complete startup.

However, mostly I don't pay attention to the color of the wampserver icon and try to start immediately working with wampserver on my actual task.
Then after a while I detect something odd and wonder why.
This is somehow annoying.

Yes, I know, I could redefine the port in either wampserver or the other programs using port 80.
But I want to avoid it.

Instead I would appreciate if wampserver could show a popup window telling me:

"Warning: Port 80 is currently used by another prog aaaaaaa.exe"

This would make life much easier.

Can this feature be added in the next release of wampserver?
Or is it already available ?

Thank you
Peter

no it wont be added currently as the wamp menu does not have this ability.and we dont build the menu.

there is an option on the menu to test port 80 tho.

but what i suggest you do is - start the server on start up- not wampserver , but just apache

goto start > run> services.msc

find wampapache in the list

right click> propteries> and change Manual to Automatic

apply and restart - apache will now take port 80 on startup.

only servers ABSOLUTLY NEED port 80 , so the other programs will be fine with out
