WampServer

Hi,

does anyone have any clue how to get the latest wampserver version to work with the interbase.dll extension?
I can activate the interbase.dll by setting the mark in the wampserver menu php ->php extensions -> interbase.dll.
The result is that I get an error in the apache log while restarting wamp which says that the interbase.dll has not been loaded.

Any suggestions how to deal with this?

is there a solution???

try enable "Copy Firebird client library to <system> directory" option while intalling Firebird
(i tried ok, for wampserver 2.2a and firebird 2.5.0, both 32bit)

seems both "fbclient.dll" and "gds32.dll" is needed in system environment variable

I've just met the same problem. From my short investigation - php_interbase.dll is compiled with VC8 and WampServer with VC9. I think this is our problem. Additionaly, I think php_interbase.dll doesn't require "gds32.dll" but only "fbclient.dll".

I have an older version of wamp with compiler => MSVC6 (Visual C++ 6.0)
(doesnt work).
and 2 development enviroments with compiler => MSVC9 (Visual C++ 2008)
(works)
