So I`m having this issue that I didnt have 2 weeks ago. When I`m trying to start the server from the Win7 quickbar, I receive an error which is somewhat like the following : "Service could not be started" . I have reinstalled wamp server, with the same result.
Some help would really be appreciated, I need to finish work on a website as soon as possible, and I cant continue with this issue persisting.
Here the main problem is WINDOWS operating system...if you didnt make any mistake in installing...cause it is so simple...
Now first you have to stop your IIS from administrative tool...then & only u will be able to start WAMP services...There can be another prob also...if you have WEB MATRIX installed in that it can cause this prob...of stopping processes . If you really wanted to start that perfectly you have to uninstall or stop its services..
I downloaded the SDK for Azure couple of days ago, and it stopped working properly. I`ll try to reinstall now after disabling IIS and I`ll get back to you.
I am really new to WAMP and have problems starting it in Win7. What is ISS exactly and how can I disable that and also how an I see if Web Matrix (what is that ??) is installed ???
To fix this 1. You must open your ports. If you are going through the internet 2. This might be that your Apache port is not working so Click Wamp > Apache > httpd.conf 3. Now find "Listen 80" and change it to "Listen 8080" And don't use the ""'s
