Wamp 2.1 and Subversion?

I have Wamp 2.1 installed on my XP work machine and I need to install Subversion alongside it.
Is this possible?
I stumbled across a tutorial about doing it here: [www.reloadedpc.com], but I couldn't get it to work as it pertains to WAMP 2.0i. For example, when I tried to use that tutorial, I would make the copies of the files it mentioned (the 4 that need to be copied from the SVN directory, that is) and then the WAMP Green would remain Orange after a "Restart all Services" attempt.
Any insight into this is appreciated.
