Server won't start with PHP 5.3

I have been using WAMPS with Apache 2.2.11 and PHP 5.2.11 and it works great. Needed to test something with PHP 5.3 and i see under PHP versions i have 5.3 listed.. which is so cool that i can just flip between versions. So i try switching to PHP 5.3.0 but the server does not start (shows yellow not white).
After poking though some log files (sad this isn't made more obvious) i see in my apache error log:
[Tue Jan 04 01:45:53 2011] [warn] pid file E:/wamp/bin/apache/Apache2.2.11/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?
