WampServer

Hello, i'm trying to use my SMTP server in mail() function, which requires authentication. But in php.ini, there are no fileds for user and for passoword to authenticate with SMTP.

What can i do?

Wamp Doesnt come with a mail server.

are you using windows or linux

wamp only works on windows.. so windows....

Wamp can use a smtp server that doesn't require authentication can it? So mine (SMTP server) does, what do i do?

I needed some coffee and realized YES Wamp ONLY works on Windows... "what was I thinking"

Ok YES you can have mail sent from what ever script your using inside wamp ... I recommend you to eathier use Office 2007 or FREE utlook express inside the server that wamp is running ...

Most ISP Providers (SMTP) want you to use authentication and inside outlook express or office 2007 you can set it in the settings manually.
