I have been having problems ever since I installed WampServer2.0i.exe on Windows 7;

At first, I received a HTTP 500 error when viewing localhost in my browser,
A couple of installations and un-installations later, I know have a localhost white page,
I followed advice and installed PHP 5.20, switched over to PHP 5.20 - this did not work,
I followed advice and installed PHP 5.12, switched over to PHP 5.12 - this did not work,
I then installed PHP 5.11 but this version of PHP is appently is not compatible with Apache v2.2.11

See the PHP 5.11 error message here: [www.weizterfish.com]

Windows IIS is turned off.
I can see and access the backend of Joomla, however, the front end is simply a blank white page.
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place! Is there anybody willing to help this noob?

If backend joomla works then there is no issue with wamp and must be An issue with ur joomla site

did you enable short_open_tag through wamp tray icon since some designers/developers use short_tag?

Certainly not arguing with you .... but under a previous Windows XP install, the front end of Joomla was also not visible until PHP_Curl was enabled. However, this does not work this time.

After reading your question, I enabled short_opem_tag and it made no difference.
The result is the same.

For what it is worth;

Running PHP 5.3.0 result in a HTTP 500 error,
Running PHP 5.2.0 reults in a blank white screen.

I also only gain access to Joomla admin under PHP 5.3.0,
With PHP 5.2.0 nothing happens after logging in.

Both version have PHP_Curl activated.

I have Joomla Version 1.5.17

Is there another way too look at this problem? Eg. Allow you access to my PC?
I am falling behind with the work I have to do and cannot afford to waste any more time.
