configuration

I installed the following update packages for WampServer - Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.3.1, MySQL 5.1.41.

I selected the new version of each package in the tray menu.

Which files do I need to configure so that WampServer works properly? For e.g. phpMyAdmin does not work, and my Joomla site does not work (it only works with the packages initially installed with WampServer).

Thank you for any help.

It should work, but it doesn't. So there is no easy way to configure the server to use the new packages?

not very helpful sad smiley

@ camelgrass
when installed new MysQL, your old db like joomla does not exist in new mysql, so need to switch back to old mysql, export those db, switch to new mysql and import them; however, if already setup backup, you can simply copy and paste

to setup backup, follow this

Hi yfastud,

In the backup guide it says to add the line "default-storage-engine=MyISAM" to my.ini file. Problem is I already have created the database, is that a problem?

Thank you.
