Wamp Server, Internal server error

Hello just installed wamp on my server running win7, everything is setup the same as the wamp server installed on my local system running win7 but for some reason I get different result,

Internal Server Error 500

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Forget I asked, after checking the server log I found out that there was a htaaccess file from the hosted server I have was in the main directory once I removed it no problem

My friend, you should activate the rewrite module in the httpd.conf (Apache)
remove the '#' from this line and restart Wamp:
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

or simply enable mod-rewrite through wamp tray icon winking smiley
