WampServer

Hey everybody,

My name's Ryan and I've been messing around with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for about a year and recently started learning PHP and MYSQL.

I never put any of my HTML/CSS webpages online but I am pretty skilled with it, and PHP doesn't seem too much different from JS but my problem is, that I've never created anything with PHP and MYSQL so I'm a bit confused.

I'm an aspiring PHP game developer with with little PHP knowledge. I've created a test database and a testtable in phpmyadmin already but does that information automatically get stored into the MYSQL database itself?
I've downloaded all the addons for WAMP and I'm now running with:

Apache 2.2.14

PHP 5.3.1

MYSQL 5.1.41

If anyone can help me in anyway possible with any changes that need to be made with WAMP or any additonal information I need to add, please let me know.

Any information, tips, or help is GREATLY appreciated.
