WampServer

Can someone please help me with this?
I installed WAMP with Explorer as the browser.
Then installed Wordpress under WAMP on local machine.
Everything works fine in building the website on the local machine.

Then, installed Firefox and made it the default browser.
Now, I can't access the Wordpress admin link in either browser.
Firefox will go the the website at [localhost], but it won't go to the [localhost] page.

I saw a post that said change the wampmanager config file "navigator" line to:
navigator = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

The word "navigator" is not in my wampmanager config file.
I pasted the above line into the file and nothing changed.

Is this a WAMP problem, Wordpress, problem, or what?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve, but I've searched---up and down---with the "edit/find" menu in notepad, even testing the "find" thing with words I could see to make sure it was workin'.
No go.

your opening wampmanager.tpl or wampmanager.ini

I've had it all my life.

However, after my initial post, I tried accessing the site admin in Explorer, and NO GO there, either.
Everything was workin' fine until I installed Firefox and Firebug.
I had no problem getting to the Wordpress admin page through Explorer.

Something must have gotten turned off during the install---maybe an add-on or something.
I can get to the site page at [localhost] just fine, but when I try [localhost], neither browser will go there.

I even uninstalled Firefox and tried Explorer again, and it won't go to the admin page.

MAYBE A .HTACCESS file?

it's not locahost/wordpress/admin but locahost/wordpress/wp-admin

The moderator's fix did it, Steve---wp-admin.
And thanks so much again for the config file tip.
I'll reload Firefox and make that change if it doesn't work.

I looked in the wordpress folder and there was wp-admin, but no admin....
Hummmmmmm....
Then I get your reply.
DUH again.
I could have sworn it was admin in the browser history....
wp-admin did it.
