Hi,

I am trying to add a twitter feed using Symphony CMS, but I am getting the error:

“fsockopen(): unable to connect to [search.twitter.com] (Unable to find the socket transport “http” - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?)”

Pastie link to full error: [pastie.org]

I tried researching this sort of error online, but could not find a solution. I posed the question on the Symphony CMS forum and no one knew of a solution. Has anyone had this sort of problem? Thanks in advance for any help!

Adam

Hi showstopper,

It looks like that extension has already been enabled. Thanks very much for replying and trying to help!

If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

Thanks again,
Adam

I tried for fsockopen('http://$url',80, $errno, $errstr, 30);

that generate error Unable to find the socket transport "http" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? (32); please let me know what is going wrong and how to solve this.
