localhost error

Hello i am like crazy now, im doing a very urgent work with joomla ...Yesterday i installed wampserver and i worked very well whith localhost, i was so so happy until before to sleep but today when i wanted into localhost a message saying page no found ; i tryed and tryed but the same thing.
I use xp, google crome and internet explorer
I uninstalled skype and try , firewall is unistalled, i tryed whith no active the antivirus and try and nothing
I need some body help me and if can to write in spanish will be so fine for me.

another thing
i fixed almost the trouble; i did some steps that i read in the forum (unistall frewall, desactive antivirus, unistall wamp, to remove wamp folder, restart my pc install firewall, ative anti virus install wamp and ok into localhost ) but after offed my computer and when to on it i cant to into localhost againg what i can do?????
PLease can somebody help me??????

i got the same problem, and the solution was to use system recovery back to 1/5 where my windows 7 has been updatet.

@seaman thanks for this solution, but how exactly do you 'use system recovery back to 1/5 where windows 7 has been updated'. I'm using Windows 7 too.

Start menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, select "Choose a different restore point", click Next, check "Show more restore points", left click on "Automatic Restore Point" of the date before the update date, click Next, then click Finish
