MySQL's missing

So I'm currently working on a project, and it seems that MySQL isn't being loaded. Yes, MySQL is started, and the MySQL module or whatever is checked under the PHP extensions.

I get this message when trying to connect to MySQL(through my script):
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in inc\class_database.php on line 24

Any help? If not, I guess I'll have to switch back to XAMPP -- which I really don't want to do sad smiley

what colour is ur wamp icon?

if its yellow then mysql in wamp is not running cos mysql is runnign somewhere else on pc

if used to have xampp, they're conflicted so make sure to uninstall xampp, remove xampp document root, run regedit to find and delete any registries related to xampp, restart pc, then reinstall this wamp

My icon is white, and the little needle is all the way to the right - MySQL is started, I'm positive of it.

I did all of this before the install of WAMP.

did you try to search and delete any file in both win/registry related to xampp??? if yes, can you list what files they are?

XAMPP wouldn't be causing the problem, I'm positive. Everything works fine, except for MySQL. And all the other functions besides mysql_ functions.
