WampServer

Hi all, I have wampserver installed on my portable HD, but I am not able to move to different machines while still using the same wampserver installation on my portable HD.

For each machine, in order to get wampserver to work from my portable HD, I must go through the installation steps with the portable drive hooked up to the current machine. **Else the machine gives me the "Aestan Tray Menu has stopped working" message. Also, I have to specify a drive in the wampmanager.conf and apache conf files.

I want to have one install of wampserver on a portable HD. I want to use that copy of wampserver on multiple machines without having to configure the machine, or my installation. *(Except for turning off IIS and web publishing, that's fine).

Is there a way to make wampserver more portable? Any help is appreciated,

this is the update script for *portable wamp*. this script almost perfect, and more elegant way then before. you only have to run this script once in the first time for the entire live of your portable wamp server. the second run and so on of your wamp server, you just have to double-click the 'wampmanager.exe'. the wampapache and wampmysql service automatically installed. well, not always installed , sametimes installed, sometimes not. i'll fix this soon. get it from: [uploading.com] or [rapidshare.com] or [www.ziddu.com].

What so will this mean I can install WampServer 2.0i on my usb stick and then use it on both my home pc, laptop and work pc without having to install WampServer on all three computers?
