I think this is a bug

I think this is a bug between php 5.3.0 and apache 2.2.11.
I tried to turn on SHORT OPEN TAG in php 5.3.0 and apache report me an error (debug and close buttons).I'm sure this is an error because when I turn off short tags I get whole php code in browser.when I have installed php 5.2.0 everything worked perfect with short tags.

Short tags are so deprecated.... why bother?

BTW, its SHORT_OPEN_TAG
