This as prob been asked a 1000 times .

when i click localhost in toolbar pop up it gives me a page load error :The connection was refused when

attempting to contact localhost : this error also appears if i type the url with localhost....but yet if i type

127.0.0.1 it takes me there.

Is this normal or can i config a file or sommat to adjust this

yes ur hosts file


c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts


drag the file to the desktop


open it with notepad

make sure IT contains

127.0.0.1 localhost


make sure IT DOES NOT contaim

::localhost


save and move back into the folder


restart browser

its ok i sussed it now i just added what u said in a new line and all is well....

Thank you for pointing this out to me i was unaware of this as i bought this computer off a friend of mine only 2 weeks ago,how do i remove this illegal software ????
