Hi.

When i hover the wampicon i get this balloontip: WAMPSERVER - server online
the icon is 25% red (75% white)
I have Norman security suite (virus & firewall), but i haven't got any prompts regarding wamp...
We have a two computer network connected to the internet via a router.
Windows XP (SP3)
I know i have manually deactivated lot´s of (what i thought then) useless services...

It doesn´t show anything when i go to localhost in FF.

Where to begin?
Is there an IRC channel or other chat alternative to get help?

Hi,

Your wamp icon is red because no service are started.
Left click -> Apache -> Service -> Start / Resume service.

If action is grayed, click on install_service in this submenu before...

Do the same with mysql service to get a white wamp icon.
