I have this same problem and have tried editing the hosts file, it didn't work. I'm not sure what I have changed to make this stop working, I didn't have any problems about 2 weeks ago when I last used it. I'm using Vista. I've noticed there are several other posts on these forums regarding the same issue, but have only seen suggestions about editing the host file. If anyone has come across a solution to this, I would appreciate hearing it
I've redownloaded it several times now.
When I open the index.php file in my www directory of wamp I get this (screenshot) [

attempting to go to phpmyadmin or sqlitemanager results in a File Not Found message. Its the same regardless of the browser I use.
(I really am not sure what info I can supply that is more helpful in describing the problem as I am definately new to working with PHP and databases, sorry!)
