library version vs. MySQL version

Your PHP MySQL library version 5.0.51a differs from your MySQL server version 5.1.34. This may cause unpredictable behavior.

this message is at the bottom of the interface page. should I ignore it? or what needs to be done?

You can ignore it since it a bug from php..
