Can't see page afte WP changes?

After I create site in wordpress 2.7 and make some changes to template. I get this message when I go to view page.

"The requested URL /wordpress/about-me was not found on this server."

Could someone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

whats the address of the file you are trying to use and what is the address you could of used

I'm sorry, but I'm lost in what you're asking. I'll explain question again.

Objective-To learn how to create webpages offline.

1. I set up Wamp.
2. I Download wordpress 2.7.
3. I configure proper files and then merge.
4. Wordpress Test site comes up on localhost.

Here's where problem comes
5. I make changes to template of test site.
6. When I go to view page I get message-
"The requested URL /wordpress/about-me was not found on this server."

7. Its allowing me to make changes but I can't see them.
8. With this problem I have to start all over. (Its seems no to be saving and connecting to server.)

did you type in the extension like about-me.php and you must place the about-me page in the main directory
