how can i set off page for wampserver

i want set a page when a site is off line people can only see that page rather then the old windows style\
404 thing

in google type in custom 404


there is lots of ways doing it.. apache has script to do it and u can even use mod rewrite

they are in the apache folder in a foldercalled error


each page is a different error

the files in there end like this and notepad cant open it
HTTP_REQUEST_TIME_OUT.html.var
