Can't access phpMyAdmin

Thanks to this forum, I overcame my initial problem of being unable to access localhost. This was achieved by un-installing AVG.

I can now access localhost and get the WampServer page.

However, when I try to access phpMyAdmin I get a small area of symbols headed by db4 on the upepr left of my screen. Followed shorty by 'Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close.'

Icon shows white. Same thing happens if I do a restart or exit and start again.

Any advice gratefully received.

these look fine.. clear ur browser history and try it again. if it doesnt work i think it would be best to reinstall wamp or at least phpmyadmin as it seems like a curropt db.

if u get a different error after u clear history post it up, if u getr same error- reinstall sad smiley

Hi Steven.

Cleared history and no change. Un-installed WampServer and re-installed. Same error with phpMyAdmin.

I hadn't downloaded again but decided to try that .. from a different mirror. I have now done that and still have the same problem.

I should add that if I close the Microsoft error warning and let it continue I then get this ..

Connection Interrupted

The document contains no data.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again
