You don't have permission to access...

I installed the newest WAMP a couple days ago but I'm having this error when trying to access localhost (or any directory in www/ for that matter):

"You don't have permission to access / on this server."

However, localhost/phpmyadmin works, so I'm pretty confused. Messed with httpd.conf for awhile (mainly looked over it) and nothing was changed that I saw, but I'm not great with apache.

What should I do?

wat exactly are u typing into the browser? and wat colour is wamp icon?


is there a htaccess file in www folder

Thanks Steve.

Typing 'localhost' into the browser, the wamp icon is white, and no there isn't an .htaccess in the www folder.

thats very strange if phpmyadmin is work. musg be in httpx file around <DIRECTORY>
