hi all,

i have followed the tutorials and i made this local connection to work
on the computer1 that the wamp is installed i have:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 site1
127.0.0.1 site2

in the computer2 in the lan i have

192.168.1.65 localhost
192.168.1.65 site1
192.168.1.65 site2


until here ok
i can connect using [localhost] from the computer1 that the server is installed
but from the computer2 i have to write [192.168.1.65] and also its not connecting to the localhost main page but to site1 directly without giving me the option to go to parent directory

any ideas where this is coming from ? ? ?

Hi,

The localhost entry in computer2 should point to 127.0.0.1 or to the workstation itself, that is one of the first rules in networking.

A lot depends on how you set up the alias folders or if you created proper virtual hosts.
